Reviews
the employees were pleasant, the food was good, and it was hardly busy at all. I genuinely can't come up with a single issue to be had. 10/10
Not bad at all! As far as KBBQ goes, they don't have a wide of a selection of meats as I'm used to & their meats are buffet/cafeteria-style. But for $13.99 lunch with decent meats? That's hard to beat. For KBBQ places that are all you can eat, all the places I've been to have a wide selection of cuts (brisket, bulgogi, short rib, etc) and you order each plate of meat from the server to cook at your table. This place was more like a buffet where you get your meat from a chilled cafeteria line to cook at your table. They also only had 1 beef (just general "beef") but had a variety of chicken marinades. However, the places I usually go to in SoCal are more expensive. TL;DR for this price point and the meat selection, you can't beat this. If you're looking for really high quality meats, this might not be the place for you. But if you're looking for good meat and AYCE, come here.
A fun, affordable, and tasty AYCE bbq place! I'm all about bang for my buck, so when I find an all you can eat place, I want to make sure I leave full of the good stuff. And by good stuff here, I mean galbi or beef short ribs. Some of the galbi cuts were too thick and took forever to cook, but the thinner ones were -- 'chef's kiss'! By far the best meat here. I wasn't a huge fan of the self service sauces, I found them too thin and not flavorful enough, so I mostly stuck to the marinated meats which were tasty all on their own. No veggies for this girl when at bbq places! They have posted that you can only sit for an hour, but we stayed past that and there were no complaints. We also got a grill change once -- highly recommend doing this to avoid too much of a charred meat taste, especially if you're cooking a lot of marinated meats. Make sure to grab a dessert towards the end or take one to go for a small extra charge!
We eat here almost every weekend when we visit our son who goes to school at OSU. We alternate here and at a sushi place. I took their great food and great service for granted, thinking all "All You Can Eat" Korean Barbecue Restaurants are like them. Until today. I went to an "All You Can Eat" Korean Barbecue In Beaverton and was greatly disappointed. Very disappointed. All of us went home still hungry and unsatisfied. So I think it's just fair to finally write a great review for this wonderful place. I think I owe it to them after being a client of them for 3 years. I will sure miss this place when my son graduates from college. To the staff and management, thank you! PS: pls open a place in Beaverton!
After 4 years of regular visits... This is STILL our Favorite place to gather when in Corvallis with the Fam! Things have changed a little over the years, but Dinner is still an excellent value $19.95 per person today. Lots of veggies, a dozen or so marinated proteins, whole shrimp, sliced taro root, rice cakes standout as favorites. We skipped the steamed rice and the basic egg soup is nothing special. They no longer have the ice cream dessert bar *sadness* They have replaced it with a selection of Blue Ribbon individual plastic cups with cardboard lids: vanilla, chocolate, rainbow sherbet, orange sherbet. Not quite ice milk, but not a fan either *pass* They still have a couple of plastic mustard bottles labeled: "teriyaki", "Korean teriyaki" "Korean dipping sauce" and a bottle of siracha. You can squirt them into a dish and take it to your table or mix 'em together and make your own personal concoction. We expected a rush on Graduation night and made reservations just in case. The place had plenty of open tables and only 4-5 tables very spaced out. One person in the Fam was especially appreciative of the general spacing of several blank tables between customers. We've never stopped by for Lunch, but Dinner has ALWAYS been 5-STARS!!
